The essential features of the circle absorber are COâ‚‚ absorber canister, breathing bag, unidirectional inspiratory and expiratory valves, fresh gas supply and pressure relief valve. The absorber is connected to the patient via corrugated hose and a y-piece attached to the inspiratory and expiratory valves.
